Plungers

Overview

In the forehearth within the container glass manufacturing process, a plunger, or needle, in the feeder forces molten glass through an orifice ring to form a glass gob. Plungers come in a variety of diameters with various tip configurations. For optimal performance, Pyrotek's expendable refractory plungers are produced to specification and manufactured within strict tolerances.
