Loading Funnels

Overview

Loading funnels typically are made out of graphite and guide a glass gob after it is sheared in the container glass manufacturing process. The funnel drops the gob to scoops then toward the IS machine mould or trough. Pyrotek offers standard and custom-machined loading funnels in a full line of carbon/graphite material. Air-assist manifolds and funnels made from water-cooled steel and stainless steel funnels are also available.
