Burner Blocks
Overview
Burner blocks are designed to introduce heat and/or cooling air to control the temperature of glass in the spout within the hollow glass manufacturing process. The burner blocks are positioned on top of the spout and underneath the cover blocks. They typically will have several orifice holes to allow the flow of heat or cooling air. Pyrotek's precast expendable-refractory burner blocks are available in a variety of compositions.
