SIVEX Filter Preheating Systems

Overview

Pyrotek makes both portable and non-portable SIVEX^® heating systems with permanent covers that are mounted to the ceramic foam filters (SIVEX) units that preheat the filter using natural gas, forced hot air or electrically radiant heaters. Pyrotek also makes filter bowl preheat units that preheat from the mouse hole using a ZEN heater. Systems can incorporate programmable ramp and soak temperature control to minimize thermal shock to the refractory.
