The Tower Melter was designed to allow for many different ways to move metal from the melter to the casting line. This includes HPDC, LPDC, Sand Casting, and any other form of casting that requires molten aluminium. Pyrotek manufactures all the equipment and consumables used in these processes. Pyrotek’s metal-handling equipment allows for easier troubleshooting, a streamlined set of spare parts, and single-source engineering and manufacturing support.

Pyrotek has 40 manufacturing sites around the world. Its customers have rapid access to parts, service, support, and engineering services. This ensures foundries get maximium operational uptime and reduce costs.

Pyrotek designs, engineers, manufactures, and locally supports its own line of Tower Melters that are built in Cortland, New York, USA. The Cortland facility designs and manufactures its own pre-cast refractory shapes and bakes them out in its state-of-the-art kilns. Approximately 70 percent of the consumables required for the Tower Melter are manufactured by Pyrotek at one of its global facilities.
